Aurora R16, complaint about parts
Okay I have a serious question here. If this seems to be a persisting problem with this PC and the cooling system, why do you guys keep using the same stuff? I have a PC from 2013, yes from 2013. I put a new GPU in it new power supply several upgrades to the internal memory up the ram. The only reason I got this Aurora R16 was because I thought it was time to get an actual gaming rig instead of one that I Frankensteined together. That way I get play newer games on higher graphics settings rather than lowering all the graphics settings on my games. This is clearly an ongoing issue. Why continue to use the defective parts?

Maybe because they fixed the issue and now they are shipping them with the issue corrected?

@Vanadiel that would only be true if I didn't just have to have Dell come fix my computer after having just bought the computer 3 months ago. So it seems that the problem still persists and they continue to sell the same stuff that they had before instead of just fixing the problem in the first place

@Vanadiel And that's why there are thousands of people complaining about their issues. My issues have never been corrected since I purchased my computer so if they have corrected the issue why are people complaining?

@Calfred I do not work for Dell, nor do I get paid by Dell. I am a user with elevated forum rights and share my knowledge.
I have no idea what issues you are experiencing with your system as you never mentioned any specifics, or what system it even is.
If it is an Aurora R16 system, there is an industry wide issue with the Intel CPU generation potentially affecting anyone who has a CPU of that generation.
The issue is with Intel for that one, and it can cause permanent damage to the CPU to a point where it will need to be replaced under warranty.
There's a thread on this forum for that specific issue.
