Aurora R16, is it really a defective fan?

paid over $2500 thinking I was buying quality. less than 2 years old and they tell me that the piece is not available rofl. I have 4 dell gaming monitors as well and when I unplugged the R16 and took my sons pc which had no issues all of a sudden I am getting CPU fan detect failure on that system as well. come on is this for real. Can a windows update or 1 of the monitors cause this issue. Not possible

typically these high end prebuilt pc are made so sophisticated and convoluted in AI interaction with human, that error pop up but do not mean what they say necessarily.

look at your R16, does it have a 240 mm liquid cooler which is standard if you paid 2500.  Next look at radiator fan when you open side panel. If both 120 mm fans on top are spinning then there is no hardware premature failure but a software bug telling you wrong error.

i agree 2500 should buy quality hardware.

On a Dell liquid cooled system, there is no "CPU fan". The "CPU Fan Failure" error message is typically referring to the AIO pump failing, or not responding as expected. What are your CPU temps at idle and under load? What is the ambient temp?
