Aurora R4, Non ALX Blower or Open GPU?

Does anyone have an Alienware Aurora R4 (non-ALX ideally, but either) and also have an open air GPU? I was looking for a blower replacement for my 560Ti, but am being advised by non Aurora owners to get an open air type Vega 56 or 1070. I can see the Aurora originally shipped with blower type cards, but what are people doing in practice?

I put an "open-air" MSI NVidia GTX-1070 GAMING-X 8G card in my Aurora-R1 (basically the same case and cooling).

MSI has a full line of cards.

Hi thanks for the reply. How were thecase temporeatures after installation?

Difficult to see how the case would vent all that extra hot air quickly enough, so presumably there must have been an increase in heat?
