Aurora R6, Logitech StreamCam will not work
I recently purchased a Logitech StreamCam and plugged it into the USB-C port of my Aurora R6. But all I got was a black screen (in camera apps... not the whole screen) and error messages saying "Not Enough USB Controller Resources.". Even if I removed every other USB device, it still wouldn't work.
The same Logitech StreamCam works fine with our HP laptop. And our other webcams (Razer Kiyo or Logitech C910, both of which use USB-A connections) work with the Aurora R6. But no matter what I do, the Logitech StreamCam will not work with my Aurora R6 desktop.
Any thoughts as to why it's not working?
System Info:
Alienware Aurora R6 Desktop (ca. 2/2017)
850-Watt Power Supply with Liquid Cooling
i7-7700K Processor
16GB HyperX FURY DDR4 XMP at 2667MHz
NVidia GeForce GTX-1070
512GB SSD + 1TB HDD

try uninstalling the USB Host Controller and USB Root Hubs will force the PC to reinstall the USB root hub during restart
To refresh the USB root hub on your PC:

hello, I have exactly same rig and am experiencing exactly same problem.
I've tried re-installing all the USB hosts and root hub, yet the problem is unchanged.
Is there any other solution to this?

I'm using the Aurora R5.
I installed ASMedia USB3.1 xHCI controller firmware update tool.
Logitech StreamCam works.
Try this.

I have the exact same issue as I too have an Aurora R6 and the Logitech Streamcam does not work but yet it works on my OLD Dell laptop. Any chance on getting this fixed or an answer as to why it doesn't work? Again, the Logitech Capture software does recognize the camera but just shows a black image/screen. Same black image when using the Windows 10 Camera App.
