@pir8tim

Turn off all notifications and suggestions and advertising.   Windows 11 is not supported but it WILL RUN on your system.  Drawback to 11 is that games like valorant will insist that TPM be on in order to run.

Not supported does not mean not working.

Windows 10 is supported on the R6, and the drivers for Windows 10 can be found at: R6 drivers

You will need a Windows 10 license key as I believe the free upgrade from Windows 7 has been discontinued.

Can I just run Windows 10 without getting the annoying messages about my system not being compatible with Windows 11?

What annoying message? The one inside Windows-Update (only) ?

I just went ahead and upgraded my Aurora-R6 to Window-11. It takes a full-wipe and clean-install. It Activated (with embedded Windows-10 key) a few months ago with no problems.

Only Dell drivers required are AW-CC and ASMedia. Everything else is from Windows-Update (and Nvidia.com for the GTX-1070).

I have a full write-up on the procedure. I was gonna make it a Wiki but it's taking a while for some reason.

Actually no current windows allows using the COA Key AFTER installing HOME or PRO with the (I don't have a key Option) which is why I still say get a WIN10 DVD while you still can.

Once they are gone you will NEVER get them again. These OEM dvd are forever disks.

Earlier versions of the disk require a generic install key.

Install works but activation requires the COA key.
