Aurora R7, additional RTX 3060 Ti on riser
Hi,
Looking for same solution for start my additional RTX 3060 Ti on riser. I reinstalled BIOS to the newest one and can't start. I remember in the past I had older BIOS and it worked but can't find this solution now. Current Alienware_Aurora_R7_1.0.26 BIOS is very weak and not allow to do anything. You can change booting only xD

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish? Use a second RTX 3060 Ti on a riser?

I've tried to disable security boot and it's not possible. I don't have such field. Have you any ideas?

Hi, Yes. There is no more space for Aourus 3060ti inside Alienware R7, I put one and even two inside the box, but therefore temperatures were too high. I want to have one 3060ti inside and one outside the box. Still looking for the solution with riser.

These boards do not allow to select the PCI GEN, so no it will not show a GEN3/GEN4 setting.

Hi,
Thank you for helping me.
I took a look into Security and Boot tab. I also checked Advanced.
There is Secure Boot option available in Booting tab, but it's unfortunately disabled ( I can't change it's status for 'Enabled' - see screenshots.
Will my BIOS extend to an version with Gen3/Gen4 change field after the step of security boot changing?

Since the R7 is not PCIe 4.0 capable, there would be no selection in the BIOS for GEN3/GEN4.

Are you sure? I remember in the past I attached additional card via riser. This was on the older Bios version..
