I have an Aurora R5 with the same issues with command center. I have all alienware peripherals, keyboard (AW768), mouse (AW558), and gaming headset (AW988). None of which are currently working with the available release of Command Center v5.2.20 which is most likely installed on your rig. I've contacted Dell/Alienware Tech Support about this issue and all they said was to wait...here's what the tech guy last told me:
Hi Geeker82,
I will contact with my software development team to check if we still have any updates. However, the estimated time for the update or fix is still around mid Jan-Feb for the headset compatibility.
I understand the issues causes by the compatibility between command center and control center since causes issues specially with peripherals our team is escalating to develop the according fixes to this applications.
If you have any additional concerns, please do not hesitate to reply back to us.
Thank you for choosing Dell,
David Dell | Technical Support
This is all very frustrating since Dell is no longer supporting it's legacy software for any of the aforementioned devices nor can the older software be downloaded and all of us is being forced to use this new version of Command Center that doesn't even work on most Alienware PCs.
Hello, after lasted window update KB4515384/KB4515359,command center is not working anymore, thermal controls crash at startup.Could you please check this issue on aurora r7 ?
I have an R7, both of those windows updates successfully installed 2 days ago for me (W10 home) and I haven't experienced any issues with AWCC. For the second one I think you mean KB4514359.
Up to date on all Windows 10 Pro insider updates including KB4516115 and KB4514359; build 18362.10019 on my R7.
AWCC including thermals and OC tools work just fine.
I would suggest running sfc /scannow from an elevated CMD window. If corruption is detected, use DISM to verify then fix by entering: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth && DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
If you're still having issues after that, uninstall AWCC completely then reinstall again. Follow the directions here:

same problem here.
spend a lot off money on a aurora R7 ,aw3418 widescreen , aw959 mouse , aw 768 keyboard.
spend also a lot of time and frustration with the help desk , reistall command center manytimes and versions.
Dell do not offer any solution to me or compensate for a not correct working product.
is it so hard to let RGB lights work? (all custom build PC have these days RGB lights)
i did ask dell to pick up this piece of , no reaction on that.........
