Aurora R7, Alienware peripherals, AWCC issues

I have an Alienware R7, that I'm sure is up to date - as well as the drivers for both Keyboard and Mouse as well - But I cannot for the life of me get either AWCC (Alienware Command Center) (Also up to date) or the quick change functions to work in changing the RGB colors for either peripherals. 

I have: 
Alienware Elite Gaming Mouse AW958

Alienware Pro Gaming Keyboard AW768

When I open the Command Center on the top left it has the Home - Library - FX and Fusion menus. I cant even hover over top the FX, its just greyed out. When I enter into the "Browse Theme" option from the home screen it lets me into  FX menu/option. At this point I can choose *Mouse* or *Keyboard* which then shows the color wheel and associated options. Which are also all greyed out. I cant select anything cant save a new theme. Nothing. 

The quick change program doesn't even register that a Keyboard and mouse are there. It lets me select each zone on the tower. But nothing else. The tower and change the two side panels and the "Alienware" head logo work just fine. As does the quick change feature in the task bar. 

Any ideas on how to at the very least get my Keyboard and mouse to stay a static Red if not through the Alienware program?
