I can use the MS one but the Alienware one (what little time I had with it) worked way more seamlessly with my day to day stuff like getting notifications of texts and what, not the MS one only seems to notify you of texts if you have it open at the time you get one.
It is small stuff like that I know its kind of nitpicky but just worked better for me maybe i can tweak the MS one to work more like the AW one if need be.

1. Good, perfect.
2. I'm guessing you have an Android Phone? Well, regardless of Apple/Android ... I would use the one Microsoft supplies.
The only "Dell/Alienware" software I would re-install on Aurora-R7 is Alienware Command Center (for lights and fans).
