The forum won't let us see your pictures. You have to use hosted-service or find similar ones on Google-Images.

Yeah, I think the BIOS-Post Image for UEFI vs Legacy are different (but can't say I've ever tied it myself).

However, just to install a SSD ... I think dropping back to Legacy BIOS is over-kill. For one, pretty-sure that optional SecureBoot feature requires UEFI.

Hi,

Thanks for helping.

The Original picture is with high resolution, similar to this:

After reinstalling the system, the picture switch to this, with low resolution:

Right, the alien's head is the BIOS-Post (boot) image for the older Legacy-BIOS based Alienware machines.

Did you switch the BIOS from UEFI to Legacy?

Yes, I switched to install the windows. So it will change back if I restart BIOS in UEFI mode?

Yes, I think so. I've seen Lenovos that work that way (with boot pic).

However, your devices are gonna re-enumerate and detect. Windows might need repairing (or even clean-installed again).

As I said, it should not have been required in the first place. However, now that you have done it, it might not be so easy to undo.
