Aurora R7, WiFi 6 card?

Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to upgrade my Aurora R7 WiFi card to a WiFi 6 card? if yes, what would be the compatible WiFi 6 card to buy?

I don't know, but I do know this ...

Instead of buying a WiFi-6 capable router, a WiFi-6 card, and possibly a new (now required) matching WiFi-6 antenna ... it would be cheaper to just go ahead and run a CAT-6 ethernet cable from your desktop computer to the router.

It will also be faster and more trouble-free than any WiFi setup could ever be.

I believe Dell sold the Aurora R9 (which has basically the same z370 mobo as the R7/8, with the same internal chassis) with the Killer wi-fi 6 ax1650.  Dell also sold this wifi 6 card with the xps 8930, also on the z370.  Not sure if anyone confirmed success using the retail version of this card in the R7, but you could start by checking the form factor and antennae specs line up with your current wifi card if interested.

Hi, I have been looking at the Killer 1650 but seem like it is only sold as an PCIE form version, Since my R7 already have a dual band antenna installed already, is it possible to buy the PCIE version and takeout just the m.2 chip and replace my killer 1535 ?
