Aurora R8, confused about default overclock profiles
Hi. With Overclock OFF my cpu runs about 4.66GHz. It fluctuates from about 4.63 to 4.73 .
When I enable "Overclock 1" the cpu sticks at 4.39 (when i look at the settings in ACC the settings slider is at 4.7.
When I enable "Overclock 2" the cpu goes to about 4.68 - the settings slider in ACC shows 5.2.
Confused. I would expect overclock 1 to be dynamic up to 4.7 (4.68), but no overclock gives me that result and overclock 1 does not.
Overclock 2 seems to give me the results I would expect from overclock 1.
Anybody.. Tx.

Hi,
for my 9900k, OC 1 sets core ratio overwrite to 47 for all cores, and a short duration power limit to 210 W. OC 2 sets core ratio overwrite to 50 with the same short duration power limit. Too bad that other settings for this OC settings are hidden in the BIOS.
Maybe someone with the same CPU knows more.

Yeah, you can't overclock this cpu in the bios at all.
