Aurora R8, drives configuration
I just got an Aurora R8 and figured out how to fix the annoying loud fan issue, now there's the issue of my OS C: drive only being 221 GB while the DATA D : drive contains the rest of my of my 1862 GB. All of my user data and apps are installed on the C: drive and there is basically 2 Terabytes that is out of the way.
Is there any way I can just take everything from the C: drive, throw it into the D : drive, and call that the C: drive? Each drive is on a separate disk when I look in disk manager, but I have no idea what I'm doing in this app.

Your drives are setup properly.
Your 240gb C drive is a special PCIe/NVMe SSD, and is very fast.
- Yes this is where your Windows and all Apps go. It is plenty big for this, but a 512gb one would have given you a bit more breathing room.
Your larger D drive is much slower. Use it for Data Files. You can also install your larger games here (yes, you can have more than one Steam install folder).
To move installed programs to another drive, you uninstall them, and then re-install on proper drive.
To move whole partitions or to clone/swap drives, you can use programs like Macrium-Reflect.

I can't delete this reply so I'll just edit it completely:
I'm reinstalling my games and virtualbox on Drive D : and I plan on using Drive D : to install my applications from now on. I honestly didn't know that I could just download my applications and read them on completely different disks and talking about disk manager just made the whole situation more confusing. There was an easier solution.

I assume you have 1 drive in the system and it is a 2 TB drive correct? Have you tried going to..
Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Disk Management
From there you can shrink Volume D and stretch Volume C. Just do it carefully and do not decide to format anything as you could wipe out your data and OS.

Like I said each drive is on a different disk, the Operating system is on a 238 GB disk (disk 1) in a 221 GB drive, and drive D : is 1862 GB on a 1862 GB disk (disk 0).
I need the operating system to be operating to be in place of Drive D : because I've only had the computer for a few hours and I only have <70 GB of room left.

Welcome to the Dell Community @JohannL
Yes it sounds like you have 2 drives.
1. 256GB formatted = 238GB
Is the 256GB drive an SSD or HDD
2. 2TBGB formatted = 1862GB
Is the 2TB drive an SSD or HDD???
Do you have the storage drive (D:) set as your "Default Storage"???
If the boot drive is an SSD then setup the (D:) drive as default storage.
Then move everything that you can to that drive (D:).
Use the 256GB drive for only booting and apps.
Best regards,
