Aurora R8, not working, #2

Hello,

I was doing some driver updates today and when I restarted my pc didn't work as intended. All I saw after restart was some BIOS loading bars and it went black for a while. I tried to restart through power button (probably my mistake) and now It has power but I get the no signal detected on my monitor. My keyboard, mouse not working too (motherboard not powered?). 

Some help would be appreciated.

Try clear CMOs settings 

  1. Locate the CMOS jumper (P217) on the system board. For information on the location of the CMOS jumper, see " System-board components".
  2. Disconnect the system-board power cable from the system board.
  3. Remove the jumper plug from pins 217 and replace it on pins 216 (P216).
  4. Wait for 5 seconds.
  5. Remove the jumper plug from pins 216 and replace it on pins 217.

Thanks you it's working again! I followed your steps and had to Change hour on BIOS. Then I restarted to be sure.

PS: board cable was hard to unplug and jumper was hard too because not much space.

This worked great. Not entirely sure why it works and I went through some of the BIOS settings just to see why it works but I just don't know enough. I didn't have to revert any settings from the BIOS update from the support assist either. Which I will never use for bios ever again. But thanks for the solution. The More ya know
