Aurora R8, recent bios update, no post

Can someone help me with my alienware aurora r8?! Yesterday I installed a new bios update, and something went wrong. Now my monitor isn’t getting any signal, and my keyboard and mouse aren’t powering up when I power up my system.

Dell bios update is known to be buggy often and can brick motherboard sometimes. you can try remove discrete video card and connect monitor to on board video port, drain power from system by unplugging power cord then pressing power button for 15-20 sec, reset CMOs jumper on motherboard (see link below for procedure), and remove CMOs battery for 10 min to overnight, then replace CMOs battery.

See if this helps-- https://www.dell.com/support/article/en-us/sln300716/how-to-recover-the-bios-on-a-dell-computer-or-tablet?lang=en

Any bios update must come from Dell Downloads and has to be installed manually without using Support Assist.

I have had this problem will all bios updates received through Dell support assistant.  Have learned that to remove the CMOs battery and re install  the battery works and the my Aurora R8 restarts with no problem. Now running 1.0.16 bios update
