Aurora R8, Temp and Usage Spikes
I've never used this before, but I'll give it a try. I have an Aurora R8 with a RTX 2080, i7-9700k, and 16gb ram. Whenever I play games, my CPU usage will spike to 100% whenever I go into a game and my GPU usage will be around 80-90% usage. My memory usage will be around 80-90% usage, and my power usage will spike to very high in task manager. I know I have good specs for my PC, so I'm really confused as to why my pc can't run games without it being really loud. Even when I turn the details and video settings in games all the way down, it still doesn't do anything. On top of that, about every two minutes my pc will start to rev up as if it's gonna explode. It'll do that for a few seconds then go back to being relatively loud. When I play games I usually have edge, discord, and my game open. (Apex Legends, Overwatch, League of Legends, etc. are the games that do this to my pc) This never used to happen and now it is. It started around the beginning of this year. I've had this pc for about 2 years. Anyway I can make my pc sound like its not about to explode?
Thanks,
Matt

How many watts is your Power-Supply and do you have liquid-cooling ?
How are you measuring all that ?
Which fans are too noisy ?

I'm not too familiar with cooling in pcs. I know I don't have liquid cooling though. How can I find the watts on my power supply and my fan specifics?

You can find it on your purchase invoice or opening it up and snapping some photos for us to figure out.

The R8, even if liquid cooled, still has an air cooled gpu plus 2 case fans, one on top one up front.

Dell didn't sell the 9700k with air cooling in the R8 (xps 8930 is another matter). The 9700k exceeds the tpd of the oem air cooler for the R8. If it arrived that way from Dell it was a manufacturing defect.

I believe 9700k plus 2080 would only have shipped with the 850w psu (the base 460w does not meet Nvidia's recommended standards for a 2080). But I know the G5 desktop shipped with a 460w + rtx 2080 and I don't remember this far back anymore so not 100% sure on the R8.
