AW2723DF, blurry when HDR is Enabled

Hello!

I just got a Alienware 27 Gaming Monitor (model AW2723DF) and I am overall satisfied with it. However, the HDR is unusable for me. When turned on, text starts has aliasing (becomes hard edged) while icons adopt faded colors and lose definition. When disabling HDR, the image becomes crisp again.

This is on Windows 11, connecting with a DP cable from a RTX 4700.  It's hard to take a good picture, but the windows icon on the left on these two pictures shows the problem well. Notice, on the second picture, how the horizontal line of the icon has completely disappeared when HDR is turned on.

Has anyone else experienced this and found a workaround?
