AW3225QF, eARC extraction box not working

It looks like dell have released a firmware update to fix this today 03/12/2025


Edit: installed, I’m still having no luck with my cheap arc extraction box and this monitor. Works with my other tv’s

I have resolved the issue - the fix was to perform a factory reset and then enable hdmi cec

* Is the eARC extraction box plugged into port #7?



After installing firmware M2B108, did you =

* Restart the computer
* Turn the AW3225QF off
* Disconnect the power cable from the AW3225QF
* Press and hold in the power button for 8 seconds
* Reconnect the power cable to the AW3225QF
* Turn the AW3225QF on
* Enter the Menu--> Others
* Verify that firmware M2B108 is installed
* Exit the Menu

I’m having no luck. I’m now trying a Hisense HS2000 Soundbar.

So after installing the firmware, you then went into the Menu and ran Factory Reset?
