AW3418DW, does not switch Audio when switching Video

I recently purchased an Alienware AW3418DW. My personal desktop is connected to the monitor through DisplayPort (connected to a 2070 Super) and USB. My work laptop is connected to the monitor through HDMI.

I have a set of desktop speakers connected to the audio out port on the monitor. If the AW3418DW Video input is set to DisplayPort (i.e., my personal desktop) when I boot my desktop, then the speakers work fine. However, if I switch my input to HDMI to do work then switch back to DisplayPort, audio no longer comes out of my speakers. It seems that the only way to get the audio to switch back is by rebooting my computer. Also, note that unlike other Dell Ultrawide monitors (e.g., the U3415W), the AW3418DW does not appear to have an option on the OSD to select audio source.

Is there a way to change the Audio source for the AW3418DW without having to reboot my computer?
