I found this link to open source alternatives for multitasking with Ultra-wide displays, especially since we are living in the second decade of the new millennia!
Shame on Dell for not including any software to achieve split-screen or PIP, hopefully this will help others like myself who use their "Gaming" monitor for work and play,

Why does the top monitor aw3821dw not support pbp? The worst-performing u3821dw monitor has this feature. What is Dell's weird policy? Is it possible to run pbp on AW3821DW through a switcher or some other device? Thanks!
