Run a monitor Diagnostic from within the monitor menu: Page 63 of Manual
Cycle through the colors, and see if it flickers or not when in that diagnostic mode.

@wuju989 ok, looks like a defective unit. Since this monitor comes with 3 year premium warranty, you should contact a Dell agent by pressing the get help now button in the lower right corner of the screen.
They can help you with warranty issues.

Old Thread - Similar Issue - Resolved.
Since this thread helped me, I thought it might help others with a follow up.
I recently had the exact flickering as the video display's. Sometimes it did require me to turn the power on and off for the display otherwise nothing showed on the monitor. I did not get any flickering on my Diagnostic. My problem with flickering was 99% on startup for the first time of the day (After an extended period of being in standby/off). I tried everything from different PC's, Different Power Cable, Different Ports and Cables on both the monitor and graphics card.
I contacted Dell Customer Support- They ran through all the situations I have already performed. The next day I had a new monitor for replacement with return shipping already paid for. After installation on the same PC I had the issues with, no more problem! The issue was with the panel in some fashion.
Sum it up - If you've tried the above - Contact Dell!
Hope this helps!!!
