AW3821DW, black screen

Hi!

My AW3821DW was working perfectly. Then one day it just wouldn't come on anymore. It's just completely dark. The power led is on, but that's all. I have tried all ports. None of them work. I have tried different computers without success. Its like the screen is not "coming on". It doesn't even show the "No Signal". Its completely black. No backlight or whatever its called.

I have not had a power surge. I know this because my computer and AW3821DW is connected to a power strip which I disconnect after shutting down my computer.

I bought this screen not even a year ago and paid A LOT of money for it. I thought this was supposed to be the best of the best? This has never happened to any of my previous monitors. The store where I bought it has closed down so I can't return it. I really need this monitor to be able to perform my work so this is extremely inconvenient for me.

I really hope Dell can help me with this!

Dell EURO Support cannot proceed until you reply to the private message sent to you by the DELL-Cares/GHN agent with the private data =

* AW3821DW service tag
* AW3821DW 20 digit serial number
* A picture of the sales invoice showing the date of purchase and your information
* A picture of the sellers warranty disclaimer

Update = After completing troubleshooting, a DELL-Cares agent setup a monitor exchange.

I would also like to add that this is the absolutely greatest screen I have ever had to pleasure of using. It's an absolute dream. So I am a bit disappointed that it stopped working. I have been taking meticulous care of it. I have also saved every single piece of the original packing it came with.
