Did this ever get solved? I have same OSD menu problem. The only menu that opens is the input menu that lets me select one of the three inputs (no matter which button I press). Toggle switch does let me back out of menu. My language is fine.
Update=Resolved- I was able to get the R13 working later in the day and was able to flash the new bios. Once the the computer was running and sending video to the monitor, the full OSD menu was available.
The below will be in a different language for you, but it should reset the monitor to factory defaults and hopefully provide you with an English text menu.
I am pretty sure the menu items and sub menus retain their order regardless of selected language, so you would have to count where the locations are.
Option #1:
- Follow the menu as shows on page 52 of the manual, and select the last option on the left. (others).
- You then have to select the last option on the right menu. (Factory Reset).
- Finally you have to select "yes" as shown in the figure on page 54 of the manual.
Option #2:
- Navigate to the "menu" as per page 51, third one from the bottom on the left menu.
- Select language from the top of the right menu (English).
