AW3821DW, flickering

I bought Alienware AW3821DW and its flickering on all ports when refresh rate is 60Hz or 30Hz. I can't use with my work laptop as its doesn't have any dedicated Nvidia GPU to use with higher refresh rate. Is there any firmware upgrade to fix this issue? Does anyone got it works with 60Hz refresh rate? The Dell support suggest to use higher refresh rate which I cant with my work laptop.

Thank You in advance.

Click the blue DELL-Cares username. Their profile page will appear. On the right click, "Send this user a private message". They will need the private Service Tag and 20 digit serial number.

Our users will need more data to help troubleshoot =

* To what Laptop model is the AW3821DW connecting? Using which ports and cable?
* What video ports are available on the Laptop?

* What operating system is installed on the Laptop?

With 30 Hz you will always perceive a flicker because of the low refresh rate. At 60 Hz however, it should not be noticeable anymore.

When the monitor is cold or you just is power on there is no flickering visible even on 30Hz.

Its starts flickering after 20 min even on my RTX3090, no matter which source you provide to any port. (DP or HDMI). The only solution is to use 120Hz.
