Works great for me, though I only use it for LED functions.

Works fine for me, but I use the older (last validated) versions on my Aurora-R1 and Aurora-R6.

What Alienware model do you have and what version of AWCC are you running on it?

AWCC has worked flawlessly on the wife's R10 (3900x rtx3800), however with the R13 (12900 rtx3090) its been nothing but trouble.

Now I've been blessed with all the PC lights being in darkness and some wizard guy interrupting any new attempt to do a fresh install.

Digging deep and removing all of AWCC which worked in the past when doing a fresh install. This time its like a virus, its files just keeps popping up even after deleting.

All fun and games I guess but software like this and the awful Support Assist does at times act like a virus, slowing your PC down, at times difficult to remove. Thats undeniable

Just updated with no issues. never had any AWCC issues with R9 and R11 models. Wonder if the R15 folks have any issues.

Works fine for me on my Aurora R13. Updating it can be a bit finicky at times, but since they've fixed the incompatibility between W11 Core Isolation and the overclocking functions on the R13 at least, I haven't really had any major issues with it.

I also have lots of issues with updates for the Alienware software.  If the installation files that you download from dell were complete installations, and not a installation stub that has to go back to dell and get stuff it would be better.

The version for my Area 51 seems like it is a complete package, and at 1.144 GB it certainly should not need anything else. I use a version from early February 2023 because it is working well.

The little wizard finally allowed the AWCC to fully install a day later.

Like I said, on the wife's R10 AWCC it has been fine, doesn't effect performance when its left open or closed when running benchmarks,  Timespy or Cinebench R23.

On the R13 AWCC left open does effect performance on the above benchmarks for me and also creates micro stuttering when gaming.
Deleting AWCC on the R13 also makes the PL1 power limit average higher, not much but it does bizarrely and gives the highest timespy scores abd consistent R23 scores.

Never had the little wizard problem before but other people are experiencing the wizard install problem.

Surely by now Dell could make a piece of downloadable software which will fully delete AWCC when issues arise, so attempting a full clean installation is easy for the user.

Something else I've noticed about AWCC updating and W11, is that after I used the full installer, and it appeared to have completed successfully, a version check in the "Apps" section of W11 still showed the old version number. Shortly after the update, updates showed up in Microsoft store. After THOSE updates were applied on top of the Dell installer, a check showed the updated version. I still do not understand why updates from the Microsoft store apparently need to be installed on top of the Dell update to complete the installation. This happens every time I install an AWCC update on my W11 Aurora R13. I'd love it if anyone could explain why this is a part of the W11 AWCC process.
