Bios update fail

I'm no mason but I fear I may have just made a brick.

I have an Alienware Area 51 R2, running fine with no problems, a bios update popped up and began to install, it was interrupted (read power loss) and the update failed. Now the computer turns off but does not initialize the keyboard/mouse/monitor...nothing. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I had the exact same issue - Dell pushes the update, and now seems to not feel the bricking is their fault.

Guess I will try all the methods here (including pressing for a free replacement if it continues to fail), but this was a super-frustrating experience; feel like a “drink me” sign was placed in my user experience by Dell - and now I am expected to view this as a chance to buy a new motherboard?!?
