Bluetooth icon and capabilities gone
Hi guys!
Is there anyone other than me who has an issue with bluetooth cxn after the update to Bios 12?
I have x51 r2, win 10 64 bit ver 1803. The bluetooth icon is missing. Device mgr shows nothing for bluetooth. But i was connecting BT devices before....
Any suggestions?

1803 seems to hate Broadcomm Bluetooth.
You will receive an error when attempting to reinstall.
For My Wireless 370 card I had to download the Driver.
Then Open WIN32 or WIN64 in Dell Drivers RXXXXX
And Run 2 programs.
Microsoft Recommends
Refer (Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows)
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/older-programs-compatible-version-windows
This is worthless however and does not work. They now hate Widicomm and Broadcomm.
The fix for some is to install the updated BIOS, then in BIOS, disable the bluetooth radio, save and exit.
Load windows, then reboot to BIOS again and enable the bluetooth radio. Next time logging into Windows, the bluetooth was back and working.
Option 2
In your case this is different.

Remove WiFi/BT mini-card and boot into Windows. DeviceManager should be clean.
Shut-down, re-insert mini-card, and boot up. See if it now PnP detects in DeviceManager again.
