Cannot buy an Cryo-Tech Liquid cooling from Dell?

Alienware Aurora R13

Alienware Aurora R13

Hello,

I'm asking daily  to Dell Parts from 4 weeks ago about Cryo-Tech liquid cooling stock and always is out of stock. Please, if somebody replace your Cryo-Tech Liquid cooling for a 240mm liquid cooling system, let me know, I will really  appreciate! I live in California.

Thank you

I'll be putting on a 240 tomorrow.  If all goes well, I'll sell you mine.

if you don't mind, take some photos of your project progress and post in a new thread so others can learn how to do that mod in the their rigs.

Im in the same boat. I can’t find an Alienware Cryotech AIO anywhere or the white cable cover back plate. I Would love to buy from anyone in the community.  Also looking to sign a petition to get SPD Write in a bios update. I won’t get too crazy with my hopes by asking if Dell can verify xmp profiles for Corsair dominator ddr5 but a man can dream.

They won't even put xmp profiles for the ram they verified and sold with the system.  They definitely aren't going to enable XMP for other vendors.

The cold plate and radiator thickness of cryo vs non-cryo liquid cooler seem identical.  this raises doubt of any tangible cooling advantage of cryo vs non-cryo.

the cryo uses ?premium sheathed tubes while the non-cryo has conventional tubes.

may the premium cryo price be for RGB mostly.

The radiator aka heat exchanger is 11% larger than the non-crytech. Also, the pump runs 6% faster than the non-cryotech.

cryo has a bigger coolant tank at top/bottom.  radiator per se appears same size?

Yes. Maybe that is why Cryo has better cooling system.

I can only go by what the Dell info says about it.  The Cryo is 120mmx120mmx30mm.

Re: The Cryo is 120mmx120mmx30mm

that is what I suspected the 10-11% bigger size is thickness of radiator.  Cryo is 30mm, regular is standard 27mm (old Asetek CLC stock).  3mm thicker.  3/27=11%.

cooling efficiency is nonlinear with respect to radiator thickness.  increasing radiator fan rpm has more instant effect on cooling temperature than radiator thickness.  Dell claims cryo has 6% higher pump duty cycle, which hardly matters.  Ask GN 59: Does CLC Pump Speed Matter?

significant price difference between the two cannot be just the led cap on pump.  the regular is old stock whereas the cryo is new, hence the premium price.

Hi F34R

Please let me know if you are able to sell or not your Cryotech liquid cooling, to start to look it in other place.

Thank you.
