I either uninstalled or never use:

Dell Support-Assist
Alienware Updater (or Dell Updater)

Neither ever worked 100% so what's the point of using or depending on them.

Keeping your system "lean" (no silly programs) will go a long-way toward keeping it "optimized" (whatever your definition of that is).
