@John1701 yes and no, I did purchase compatible ddr5 ram from a 3rd party company on dell’s approved list for the motherboard, unfortunately my cpu is the i7 14700F and it’s locked by dell the technician said dell will not unlock it and allow me to set the proper ram clock speed. Basically saying I’m out of luck. I’m hoping someone may have a work around before I purchase dells proprietary ddr5 ram which is more costly than the normal approved 3rd party offering

Did you install Dell RAM which is listed as compatible with the Alienware Aurora R16?
If not then the memory may default to SPD standard speed of 4800Mhz.
