ways to keep Area-51 R2 case LED on constantly
much experiment has been done to work A51 R2 FIO with non-Dell mobo with mixed results of success and frustration
in my latest case I found whenever power is just turned on the front waterfall leds are immediately lit, but as soon as Dell logo is passed on video PC about to boot may be even in preboot stage the front lights are killed. I need to wait Windows is launched and AWCC is opened and then 3 out of 5 time when AWCC is behaving I got the lights back on. it is a pain especially given the AWCC unpredictability. so what to do?

one experiment I am doing is not to connect a usb2.0 cable between FIO and new motherboard and only plug a 4 pin molex power in the FIO. I am using an external power button cable to turn on/off motherboard and bypass the Alienhead button. the result: front waterfall LEDs constantly on at a preselected color I used before. this is much better than before.
