1. Right, normal with NVMe SSD. I assume you mean 5 seconds from Power-On to Login-Screen.
2. What is happening on screen during this time? What part is taking too long?

If it takes 5 minutes for the Alienware logo to finally appear and then continue (that is the BIOS Initializing or Posting) ...
It's very likely you have a core hardware problem.
Be sure machine is getting plenty of good power, and also ... make sure you are not just having some kind of video or monitor problem.

So, are you sure this is EXACTLY what is happening ...
- You turn on computer
- The screen is black
- After 5-10 minutes the Alienware BIOS Logo finally appears and then goes away
- Computer boots quickly to Login Screen
- You enter password and Windows boots to Desktop normally.
and sometimes when you turn-it-on ...
- The Alienware BIOS Logo appears quickly
- Computer and Windows boots-up normally

Oh, OK. That is much different. You had me worried there.
Two questions
1. And sometimes, it turn-on and boots-up fine and fast?
2. What does full ePSA Diagnostics test report (F12 on boot)?

Hi aned113,
If ePSA is passing tests then it may help to run the Dell(Alienware) Support Assist program to clean up any software issues.

1. OK, got it.
2. Good.
Try removing all extra USB devices and cables. Connect only monitor, plain wired-USB keyboard and Mouse ... to back of machine. Run that way for a day-or-so. Does that help ?
