X51 R1, processor upgrade
I'm looking to upgrade my i3-3220 CPU but I'm not sure what processors I can upgrade to with this old motherboard. I believe my x51 is an R1. I can't remember my exact motherboard right now.

For your safety and security please do not post your service tag number.
This link should help as it lists compatible CPUs.

@JOcean
I've read that users question before and he has the R2 and I'm pretty sure I have the R1 as I've never seen R2 anywhere I've looked. I've only seen the x51 by itself and I'm told that means I have the R1. So im not sure we have the same motherboard and that the CPUs compatible with his system are compatible with mine.

More likely the cmos battery is bad.
330W power brick is also recommended.
