X51 R3, boot up issues

I press the power button and the light on the button itself glows white as usual and I hear the fan and water cooler (but they sound a bit different to normal), however the lights on the side of the computer case don’t turn on and the monitor doesn’t do anything (the monitor works fine). No idea how to fix this, would appreciate help.
