Disabled windows fast startup and the issue is resolved.

And the issue is back. AlienFXtester recognizes no board, fast startup is still disabled. I've also uninstalled and re-installed AWCC.

you said you have an unknown device in your Device Manager. is there no Hardware ID under Details tab?
how about Power Drain? have you tried it?

Same issue here; fast start-up disabled, Hardware ID reported as USB\DEVICE_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE. If I fully power off and leave things for a bit everything starts working again, but only for a while before the same thing happens again.

Yeah, that's an old AW-CC trick from the Windows-8 days (even with the old machines).
I turned it off on my Aurora-R6 desktop also. Like my NVMe SSD needs help being faster.
