Sounds like you are having DNS issues with your routing. Are any other computers in the house showing these same issues? If not, try uninstalled and re installing your wireless network adapter.
I haven't had any problems with other devices. I've re-installed upgraded and downgraded the drivers but no luck. Flushing the DNS seemed like it worked for about a half hour but the problem returned. I have also tried the winsock reset trick to no avail.
The errors seem to happen more after the laptop goes to sleep and I log back on.
I tend to switch between balanced and high performance. I've followed the instructions so the card is not turning off, but the issue still remains. I don't seem to lose connection to my network, it just happens when browsing.
Do you have any antivirus/firewall software installed, could be that blocking the websites. Try to disable that for a while and see if you run into the issue. You can try to set your machine up to go through google DNS servers as well by following these instructions: developers.google.com/.../using

you could also try to flush the DNS resolver: technet.microsoft.com/.../cc781949(v=ws.10).aspx:550:0

What power managment setting do you have it set to? Could be that the card is turning off when it sleeps, and you could try this fix: www.thewindowsclub.com/wifi-gets-disconnected-after-sleep:550:0
