Alienware 18 HDMI input problem
Hello, I am trying to hook up my PS4 through my alienware 18 laptop through the HDMI port. However, although it works and i get the image of my PS4 every few seconds (about 10-20) it jumps back to Windows for about 10-20 seconds then goes back to HDMI input... My NIVIDIA drivers are all up to date. Does anyone know why this is happening?

HDMI IN does not support the use of a PS4 nor Xbox ONE.
I believe you need a third party software (if there is any out there) to be able to have it functioning properly.

This is not true. PS4 works just fine though HDMI. I have seen YouTube videos with users playing PS4 on their Alienware 18. I am able to as well, but I do have a washed out low brightness where others do not.

Hi folks,
I have same problem.
If I my PS4 to my laptop connect the picture on the PS4 automatically changes.
And it changes every few seconds then from PS4 on laptop and reverse.
PS.: Sorry for my bad english -.-
