Alienware 18 keyboard backlighting issue
I just noticed on my new machine that the upper right quadrant around the backspace key the lighting tends to have what ever color I set the number pad quadrant to bleed into tho area. This causes the color to be distorted. For instance, if I set the color to blue and set the color of the number pad to white, the color in this region will be purplish on a few of the keys closest to the keypad. This does not happen on the opposite side near the left macro keys. This makes the backlighting seem a little cheap. You'd think $4k would get you a little consistency. Does anyone have uneven backlighting on their keyboard? Is there a way to fix this? Should I RMA this bad boy?

I doubt there's a need to RMA it.
Could you please take a picture of the affected area and submit it to this thread?
Could you please send me your Service Tag via PM. I'd like to make a note on this case.

Here is a picture taken with my phone. You can see the bleeding a little here but it doesn't show how it looks in person. The most affected keys are the backspace, delete, end, backslash, enter, and home keys. The right corner is the worst area.

Darok,
I still haven't received your Service Tag.
Would it be possible that you could send it to me via Personal Message?

I don't know how to send you a personal message. I sent a friend request with my service tag instead.

Sorry for the delay. I was having issues sending PM on from my phone. I finally discovered how to do this when I visited this page on my PC and saw the option to send message. I sent the info you requested. Thanks
