Alienware alpha boot up

Okay so I bought an alpha from best buy, when i set it up turned it on everything was normal, then a gray screen showed up it said "lets get a few basic things out of the way" or something like that and it showed a list of languages, none of usb ports were respondind so i couldn't do much, anyway I can factory reset it, I really want this product and it was the last one in stock, so any recomendations and thanks in advance.

If you have the controller, you can use it to set it up. If not, you'd need to do a clean installation of Windows.

Are you even able to enter the BIOS by hitting F2 on the keyboard?

I've got a similar problem. I ordered an i3 from the dell website along with an xbox controller. After a few days I got an email from Dell saying  the order was cancelled due to incompatibility issues. Anyway my credit card was still charged and the Alpha was delivered 3 days after the original delivery date without an xbox controller. I bought an xbox 360 wireless controller but cannot get it to work with the alpha.

The controller is paired with the usb receiver but nothing happens when i try setting hot keys or anything.

As a result I'm unable to get past the first setup page.

Any help would be appreciated.
