If you have the controller, you can use it to set it up. If not, you'd need to do a clean installation of Windows.
Are you even able to enter the BIOS by hitting F2 on the keyboard?

I've got a similar problem. I ordered an i3 from the dell website along with an xbox controller. After a few days I got an email from Dell saying the order was cancelled due to incompatibility issues. Anyway my credit card was still charged and the Alpha was delivered 3 days after the original delivery date without an xbox controller. I bought an xbox 360 wireless controller but cannot get it to work with the alpha.
The controller is paired with the usb receiver but nothing happens when i try setting hot keys or anything.
As a result I'm unable to get past the first setup page.
Any help would be appreciated.
