At minimum, see if it will pass ePSA. If so, StressTest with OCCT and Heaven (remove games from equation).

Use your 1-year warranty if needed.

Yes, as Tesla1856 is saying, please run ePSA and let us know if you receive any errors.

Update the BIOS version to the latest as well as the video driver. 

Also, try running a video card stress test. Follow the steps below to do this.

• Open Support Assist
• Click on the Checkup option
• Click Run Custom Scan
• Click on the Nvidia/AMD card
• Select the Stress Test option

If you do not have Support Assist installed, click here for the download link. Let me know how high the GPU temperature goes in the stress test. 

I did the Stress test from Support Assist and it passed, with it reaching a GPU temperature of 99-100

*I was unable to access the ePSA on bootup, when pressing F12 on the logo it didn't go to the menu.

I ran the test at Support for Alienware Alpha R2 & Alienware Steam Machine R2 | Drivers & downloads | Dell US  and it everything is now up to date. I don't know if it checked the BIOS version.

Also, I got my pc on 7/26/2016 so my warranty is expired now, what can I do about this?

I think that is too high because IIRC, 100c is the max. limit. The Alpha-R2 might be turning-off to save-itself from permanent damage.

I would start by blowing-out the dust and checking all the fans. If you are unfamiliar with working inside computers, seek professional assistance.
