Alienware alpha lights acting strange!

So i was playing metro last light on my alienware alpha i5 version then i notice that the lights for my system are off, then a minute later the logo and corners flash red, orange, yellow. I do not know if that mean overheating or what, but i know all the changes i did to make some games run better, so if reverting them back will help i will do but i that is not something i want to do. Anyways my system is running normally which is why its strange!
