Alienware Aurora Networking Issues after Reformat
I recently reformatted my Alienware Aurora and now it won't shutdown properly. I often have to hold the power button to shut it down. Additionally, the network won't work at all. I have a Broadcome 57xx ethernet controller, and windows 7 installs the drivers automatically. However when the pc boots up, there's a yellow triangle there showing problems. I try installing the drivers from the disc however the it just says "uninstalling..." and shows a looping progress bar going nowhere. I can't do a alienrespawn as I don't have the discs, and I think Windows 7 deleted the utility partition (tried booting to it, wouldn't work). What else can I do?

I've used both drivers (at different times) and they both work fine for me.
Did you install the Intel ChipSet drivers first?

I tried installing every other driver first, as well as doing it in safe mode. The network drivers sometimes even work in safe mode however when I boot to normal, it just shows the yellow triangle.

Be sure it's turned on in BIOS.
Disconnect the network cable for now.
Delete it from Device Manager and let it be re-detected.
