Alienware Error on Boot
Hi everyone,
I´m getting an error on my Alienware M11x, saying that a recent harware or software change may be causing it not to boot.
The system is installed with Windows 7, 8GB RAM and as far as i know, it was working perfectly until this happened about 1 hour ago.
I bought my computer in Australia, but now I´m living in Spain, and I´m unsure as to how to get my hands on a recovery disc (this is the instructions being given by the computer). If anyone knows of a way to fix this, or is able to help me out with a disc, I´d really appreciate it. I´ll provide as much info as I can. Would really like to not lose what´s currently on the drive too!!
Thanks.
Philip.

orescanin,
What hardware or software change did you make? You must fill out the Transfer form. http://dell.to/qNc5Am

Hi Chris,
I didn't make any changes what so ever to either any hardware or software on the computer. It just suddenly froze, fan started to speed up, and then just shut itself down. When I tried to turn it back on, it wouldn't.
I've already applied for the change of address and country, but haven't yet heard back from that department. Will I need to wait until I get a reply before I can lodge a support ticket/request?
Thanks.

You could contact Alienware and see what they say (alienware_2@dell.com). They should be able to support you even if the form has not been completed.
