Alienware m14x r2 .NET framework issue FX Lighting

Hi all, I recently decided to upgrade my alienware system from a 500gb HDD to an SSD in the MSATA slot. I could not locate the discs from the system so needed to do a fresh install of Windows 8.1 on the system. This was easily completed and the drivers from Dell installed including command centre. This is where the problems with the system started. The FX lighting was still glowing fully in the previous configuration before the new install in blue and white. When I opened command centre to check the system functioned I immediately got a .NET unhandled exception error and it seemed no areas or zones could be seen or changed. This is incredibly frustrating and I know there is not fault with the FX board as it worked before and lights up perfectly well still. I really need to get this sorted could anybody offer any assistance? This is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
