Alienware M17x R4 Startup issues

I was playing a game the other night and the screen displayed a red and black strip screen. I had to hard close the laptop. The system would not start up correctly. I tried to use the repair option but the system stated could not repair. I got tired of the issues and tried to reinstall Windows 10 but during the installation it was hung up for over 3 hours. When I restarted the unit again for Windows 10 re-install, the unit went to the startup but stated it did not correctly install and had to be restarted. When I restart it gets stuck in this loop. I cannot boot to safe mode. I go to the bios and see both my ssd and the regular hard drive. When I did finally get to a command prompt, I see only the x drive and no other drives. Do I have a bad hard drive or is there something else I need to look at? I have since removed the hard drive and moved it to the other hard drive bay and I get the same results.
