Hi, thanks for the reply, is there no manual to show the layout of everything on the motherboard, usbs,battery, conections etc etc, all other motherboards that i have had have a manual that show a diagram layout of the board, also will get a i7-2600k if the i7-2700k is not supported.

Thanks Chris M and Morblore for the info, just needed the diagram because i have purchased an antec 920 water cooler and need a usb header to plug into and there are only 2 on the motherboard so will disconnect the front ones so i can run the antec with it.
Hi goodie, Did you ever put an i7 2700 in your R3? Does anyone know if it can handle this. It appears the P67 chipset supports the 2700K. I put a spare 2550K in and it works fine. Just wondering about future upgrades.
Hi, posted this question on the forums and was advised not to put in I7-2700k as apparentlty it was not supported, so opted for the I7-2600k and runs with no problems, no hiccups and overclocking it was really easy. Best upgrade i have ever done.

The i7-2700 is not validated in the R3.
