Alienware Proactive Solution 8 Beep Code is incorrect

Hello, the alienware forum proactive solutions documentation relating to alienware laptop beep code errors is either out of date or incorrect. Over the past  months I have dealt with six seperate M17x R3 and three M17x R4 laptops that were sounding eight beeps at post. Every one of these laptops have had a faulty graphics card, not a fault LCD as the proactive solutions document suggests. They had both AMD and nVIDIA graphics cards installed. These graphics cards tested faulty in known working laptops. All the laptops that sounded the eight beeps code now have working LCD screens after the graphics cards were component repaired. I thought this information would be helpful to anyone without a lot of experience trying to diagnose their machine, the last thing you need is to purchase a spare part that is not required.
