Alienware won't turn on

Basically I bought this alienware around 4 or 5 years ago and I've used it a lot in the beginning but then I stopped using it around a year or two ago. yesterday I took it out of my drawer and tried turning it on but the only thing was that it beeped around 3 times then stopped for a second then it did that forever. I tried a hard reset but it didn't work. Before when it happened, a hard reset work. Warranty is expired so I'm not sure what to do now. I'm not sure whats wrong.

Hi,

You could try removing the CMOS battery and doing a power drain. Click here to view a video that explains how to remove the Coincell battery. After removing the Coincell battery, perform a power drain. Follow the steps below to do a power drain.

  • Turn the system off and disconnect the AC adapter.
  • Disconnect the battery.
  • Disconnect all external devices (USB devices, headsets, external monitors, etc.)
  • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Connect everything again and turn on the system.
