Alienware X51 power button issue
I'm having issues with my X51, about half the time when I turn the computer on a faint white light can be seen on the power button but the computer doesn't turn on otherwise, i usually have to unplug the power brick from the computer for a few seconds, plug it back in and everything boots as usual with no issues/errors. Any solution?

Thanks for the advice, it is plugged into a surge protector, so I will attempt to plug it directly into the wall socket and also make the Bios changes.
Thanks again!

hain1981,
The Power Light on the Alienware X51 is not a diagnostic indicator for a no POST situation. The Power Light has only two states i.e. On or Off. Is the brick plugged into a surge protector? If yes, plug it directly into the wall socket and see if the issue continues. Boot up into the Bios (F2), go to Advanced- Power Management Setup. Open AC Recovery. Set it to On. press F10 to Save and Exit the Bios.
