The 5 blinks could indicate a failure in the CMOS battery or possibly the motherboard. Try doing a power drain, follow the steps below to do a power drain.
Turn the system off and disconnect the power cord.
Disconnect all external devices (mouse, keyboard, etc)
Press and hold the power button for 1 minute.
Connect everything again and turn on the system.
If the same issue persists, we recommend sending the system in for repairs. For assistance with repairs, send me your Service Tag in a PM.
Doing it again after being serviced in July. Very concerned because warranty is almost up and same issue from the first day we got it. We have done the above fix but we shouldn't have to every time we turn it off.

Having same issue for second time. Was able to get it to work last time. Only have had it for less then two months.
